Trusted Angels Homecare LLC of Enfield, CT, is currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our amazing team! Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with individuals with disabilities and can help maintain our residents’ independence in our unique capacity.

Essential Functions:
Assist with the daily activities of the residents in a self-helpful and effective manner.

• Maintain the personal care needs of the residents, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, etc.
• Assist with mobility devices as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the residents, including housekeeping, bed making, toileting, etc.
• Respond to resident needs in a timely manner; work schedule is always busy, and we are always looking for caregivers who are willing to take on additional duties when needed
• Maintain confidentiality of all information provided to the residents
• Assist with any other duties as requested by the residents

Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma GED Required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of employment and provide transportation as needed.
• Ability to read and write legibly; ability to write legibly from bed; ability to follow directions verbally
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of personal health information provided to the residents
